NEW MOON.

i couldnt think of a better title cause ever since i gave in to the temptation of getting into this book this afternoon (shant bore the space with the reasons), i got totally absorbed.

it totally diverted the attention from the killer cramps after i popped two painkillers of course, but you get what i mean. with honey lemon tea this time, i was all set on the reading chair, blocking all noise out with

Snow Patrol's "Open Your Eyes"

right this moment, i am at page 253 but i wont be a spoiler cause i hate them! haha.

my thoughts so far though are that i am loving the fact that this one is much of a gloomier and sullen tone compared to Twilight.

i dont know, i guess it's cause my world has been pretty grey so far so while i was stuck in the chair all afternoon, everything fits like a puzzle somehow.

from the tea to the quietness (after i moved a chair out to the balcony) to the Romeo and Juliet quote at the front page to pages 85 to 92 to Bella's descriptions of her feelings for Jacob to Fork's clouds to everything else; i was purely captivated. it was the right read for my current state of mind - rid of all the kismet and lovey-dovey of the the first book.

"So much had changed, and so abruptly. It made me feel a little bit dizzy, like I was standing on an edge, a precipice somewhere much too high." - Bella, New Moon. or me?
